I am not going to be doing much crocheting as I am now making a doll house for my Granddaughter Emily. Here are some pics of my progress thus far.

A Living Room sofa and I finished laying down my wooden floor.

Finished Sunrise Sunset Blanket

I finished it and changed the border to double crochet with a row of clusters and did a reverse single crochet to give it the rope effect for the edge.

Current projects

After my co-worker saw the afghan I made for a benefit, she asked me to make one for her daughter for Christmas. She chose the colors Expresso and Lace. The colors she chose really make this afghan pattern great. Here are a few pictures of it in progress. In the meantime, in between, I am making this Christmas Tree.

Sunrise Sunset Afghan

I made this for a little boy's benefit coming up in October. He has cancer and has had several surgeries thus far. It is a free pattern from Coats and Clark.

I made this ABC Blanket for my nephew's wife for her baby shower. This was a lot of fun to make. However, I must say it was rough going at first as I started the blanket with the letter Z instead of the letter X so my puff stitches were on the wrong side and therefore my letters were going backwards. I used Bernat Baby Mint. The free pattern can be found here:

Curtains

I made these doing a chain of 180. One row of double crochet, six rows of double crochet mesh and continued for a total of 28 rows per panel. I used 100% cotton in ecru.

A Pattern-A-Day Calendar

I am so excited. I received an email from Sue Ripley that my pattern was chosen for the 2009 A Pattern-A-Day Calendar. That is so awesome! It is going to be the
June 19th pattern. It is called Blossom in Buff Headband.

This was the first time I submitted one so that is really cool.

For doing so, I receive a free calendar when they are printed. I can't wait!

Happy Crocheting!
