JFK
Today my day started off with announcements on the radio that our President John F. Kennedy was shot dead in Dallas 42 years ago. Although I was young I still remember the look on my Mom's face when the news came over our black & white television set.
How the country mourned this beloved man and how horrible his murder was. The footage on tv was just unbelievable. The images of Jackie in that limo and the scenes of Little John at the funeral will stick in my mind forever.
Our country changed forever after that happened and we were cheated from the great things this man could have done for us.
We were a nation united and that dreadful day shattered all our hopes and dreams.
So Mr. President, wherever you are, please accept my thanks for serving us for the short time that it was. May I live to see another great President like yourself lead our country again.
One day, I hope mankind will not kill each other. I can only hope.
God Bless America!

Craft Show Disaster
Well I have my first craft fair under my belt and came away with the feeling of great disappointment.
I really don't know why because I went into it knowing that people just don't appreciate handmade crafts as they did many years ago.
I enjoyed being around other people who are very talented and proud of their craft whatever it may be though and don't regret the experience.
However, I do not think I would ever do one again.
I will enjoy crocheting for myself, family and friends and who knows I may generate some orders from it.
Stay tuned.....

Crochet Wrist Bag
Good Morning all,
This is the wrist bag I crocheted to donate to the church on Saturday for the craft fair. I got this pattern from Crochetdiva at my dear crochetville. org.
Almost finished my dish cloths and would like to make some more scarves to take along. I can't believe these 2 months have gone by this quickly.
I have not done as much as I would have like to, but will be interested to see how my items sell.
till next time,
Pauline

Crocheting like a mad woman
Happy Wednesday,
Just noticed I took the picture of the towel ring upside down. OOPS!
I have been very busy getting ready for my first craft fair this Saturday. Should be an experience. I wish I was able to get more items ready for it.
Anywho, it will be very interesting to see what people are buying and what their interest are so I will be better prepared for the next one.
Weather today is very dreary, rain and unusually warm but that is going to change come the weekend with temps down to 18 on Friday night.
till later,
Pauline
