I made this for my co-worker's daughter for Christmas.
I didn't have a pattern and I am pretty happy with the way it turned out.
It measures about 12" x 12" with a long shoulder strap. It is the basketweave stitch.
I also lined it with a basic stripe pattern material and crocheted a flap and sewed a button for a closure.

Loving the bag great job. I know your co-work daughter will love it great job. I've yet to try basketweave stitch I think I may have to give it a try.:)
I love the bag...especially the suede look with the basketweave stitch!
